The cost of bringing Americans home
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009Bringing Euna Lee and Laura Ling home from North Korea was a great day for us. We should never let any American languish in prison for diplomatic principles that date back to when Britannia ruled the sea and the world was flat. In this case, letting Bill Clinton pose for a picture with that funny little fat (oops, forgot about the cancer), skinny man was cheap.
Some of us remember the POWs left behind due to Nixon, LBJ and that totally deceitful Henry Kissinger. Those same men were left behind again as politicians like John Kerry exchanged trade for principles. It should never, never happen again. - An Enormous Crime by Bill Hendon and Elizabeth Stewart
No price is too much to bring Americans home when they are innocent of wrong doing and/or being used a political pawns. All options should be open – military, political, private and religious.
OBTW, what’s happening with Bowe R. Bergdahl, an American soldier being held by the Taliban.
