A closed subject. No more debate. IAEAioioio will take care of any issues that may arise with Iran and nuclear power. A few things Mr. A seems to have missed . . .
• August 13: Israeli military sources reveal that Syria, after analyzing the performance of the Israeli AF in the last Lebonnan war, went to market. They have purchased the most advanced ground-to-air missiles from the Russians, considered the cutting edge in aircraft interception technology. Some of these missiles were snatched from the production lines even before being introduced into Russian operation service. Damascus’ open wallet for purchasing antiaircraft weapons, in particular, systems for the defense of strategic sites, is one of the prominent characteristics in the Syrians’ preparations for a possible conflict with Israel. According to The Institute for National Security Studiesantiaircraft deals between Syria and Russia include the purchase of SA-24 missile systems, an armored vehicle which carries four Igla-S missiles – one of the most advanced shoulder missiles available. The Syrians also purchased between 36 to 50 Pantsir S-1 (SA-22) systems. This recently completed system combines missiles and shells. Installed on a high-mobility vehicle, it has a launcher of 12 missiles. Syria now “possesses the most crowded antiaircraft system in the world,” with “more than 200 antiaircraft batteries of different types.”
• September 6: Israeli Air Force F-15 and F-16s conduct attack near Dayr asZawr, a city deep inside Syria. And the new air defense system? No indication whatever of any detection of enemy aircraft invading Syrian airspace. Israel in and out and not one bell, buzzer or warning light. The Syrians didn’t even know they had been attacked until the attack was over.
• September 16: France announces that they should prepare for the possibility of war over Iran’s nuclear program.
What Mr. A doesn’t seem to get is that if Syria has no defense, neither does Iran. They can threaten as much as them like . . .
• September 17: “600 Shihab-3 missiles” will be fired at targets in Israel in response to an attack upon Iran by the US/Israel.
•September 19: Iran will attack Israeli territory with fighter bombers as a response to any attack.
. . . but the mullahs, air force, and real generals know they are deep in camel dung. Syria’s silence and Iran’s bluster tell the real story.
