Today we woke up about 7:30 to clear skies! We had a Natural History tour scheduled but hey, clear skies – that means Mt. McKinley may be visible. We broke camp in seconds, sprinting south in the Sprinter, stopping at the side of the road, searching for spectacular shots of Mt. McKinley.
In any event (normally McKinley is seen in it’s entirety only 20% of the time) this was enough to skip ahead in the blog . . .
We finally got some bandwidth here in Denali National Park. We have been mostly disconnected from all coming through central Alaska and across the Denali Highway. I will try to catch up as we head north in a couple of days.
