How can a few tell thousands what to do

AP LogoKHARTOUM, Sudan – Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, protested Friday outside the presidential palace in Khartoum, demanding the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear “Muhammad.”

After Friday “prayers” the faithful hit the streets. Urged by their clerics they wanted  “kill her, kill her by firing squad.” The sad (or scary) part in all this is how the Muslims are swayed, convinced, driven by their so called clerics. Most of these are uneducated, have never been over the horizon and can only repeat what their fathers and teachers said before them. Sadr from Iraq, Nasrallah of the Hezbollah and Omar Abdel-Rahman, currently imprisoned in the US, are perfect examples of these cleric thugs.

It was the same in Iraq (Mosul 2004). Most US activity was cut off by noon on Friday so as to avoid the mobs coming out from “prayers” whipped up by the clerics to kill Americans.
