Are you talking about shale oil which, if recoverable, will cost a fortune to recover or oil as is being pumped, and some still flowing, in Texas?

No, I am very famiiar with oil shale. This link http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911 speaks to oil in the Bakken formation. Sorry, you’ll need to cut and paste the link.
