The Supreme Court has turned down a challenge to the Pentagon policy forbidding gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military, granting a request by the Obama administration.
When the military finds out someday how many gay and lesbian members they really have (and have had during the years) will they be surprised?
No doubt gays and lesbians have served with honor for a long, long time. I thank them for their service and sacrifice for our country. It is too bad the Obama administration, which was supposed to be open and transparent, wants some of our service people to hide out.
