I won't eat Peppermint Patties from Mexico.

Remember Ross Perot and the “great sucking sound” of jobs heading south? Hersey has announced that production of the Peppermint Pattie will be shifted, after 23 years in Reading, Pennsylvania to Mexico.

This is what is killing America’s economy. Where do you suppose the almost 300 ex candy makers will find work?

If the government wants to do something about the economy start with deals like this one. Instead of making sure the laid off workers get longer unemployment, how about tell Hershey that if they move there will be a $5.00 tariff on every Peppermint Pattie shipped into the US.
